Any thoughts on Delta and Dawn the wayward humpbacks?
Scientists appear to be baffeled at the behavior of Delta and Dawn, the Mother and child humpback whales that ventured approx 90 mi's from the ocean up the Sacramento River. Speculation is why? what was up, and why did they leave? My thoughts are 1) the ridiculous: They wanted to hear the Jazz playin at the festival in Old Town. 2) A possible creationist answer Somehow the whales being injured, needed help. I believe that God spoke to them. God knew what these two whales needed. They came and waited around until some bright scientist decided to give them an antibiotic. Soon there after, the whales moved on (25 miles in one shot) and on the 3rd day after the antibotic they were gone. The bible says God knows the flight of a sparrow, and when and where it falls. How about a whale, and where it swims? How much more dose God value you? And how much more will God give the Holy Spirit to you if you ask? think about it al 4 now B

God is in control. Do you have another theory?

Try reposting in Zoology. And there's a Religion section for all your kooky God theories.

Wouldn't it have been easier for God to just cure the whales Himself rather than send them 90 miles up a river for humans to do it? This God you speak of is either really lazy, or not nearly as powerful as He would lead us to believe.

a) Delta Dawn what's that flower you have on b) The Mother and Child reunion is only an ocean away

The only reasonable explanation I've found is that while heading up north they realized that all this time they were salmons trapped in whales bodies. And since they were close to San Francisco (I could go on pass this pt as to why San fran but well come on) they decided to go up sacremento to meet some other wayward salmons in a bar that might be a lil nervous at first but then after a couple of drinks go for it.
