Anyone know of a good lunch place in downtown Sacramento, CA?

I am traveling to Sacramento and meeting my dad for lunch whe my flight gets in. I will be introducing my new girlfriend to him, and wanted to meet at a cool place for lunch. I'll be doing this on Wednesday 6/20/07

I'd skip the mall, may I suggest the restaurant at the Hyatt Regency, its name slips my mind right now but it certainly is more appropriate for the kind of lunch you are planning. Who knows you catch a glimpse of the Governor, he stays there while in town.

Right next to Downtown is Old town and I highly suggest the Fat's restaurants that are right next to the river front. Not only can you enjoy the history of Sacramento, but the ambiance of the restaurant has no comparison to any other.

There are 2 upscale Mexican restaurants that would be perfect. One is called Zocolo which is on Capitol Ave., and then there is Centro, which is on J Street. Good luck!
