Cheapest way to fly to santa barbara, ca. from sacramento? Sites?

Airfare is so expensive flying in..would like to fly in near there cause we have to rent a car anyways..Do you know the cheapest site for a flight there...either nearby or directly to...?

you might want to look into train travel as alternate (Amtrak does have one direct train from Sacramento to Santa Barbara (I suggested train instead because you probably will find some flight but they probably will be higher then Sacramento-lax (although you could fly to lax and then the Santa barbara airbus to Santa Barbara which is another idea
