I'm moving out of my parents house in Phoenix, AZ to Sacramento, CA an I need some advice on the cheapest move?

It's just a small bedroom. I'm only taking my futon bed, dresser, tv stand, night stand, and of course my boxes full of clothes 'n' stuff. I need to know the cheapest way to ship all of my things from Phx to Sac. So far I've come up with 3 short ideas. Tell me which option would u choose or if u have a better idea then please feel free to put it down: 1) Have a friend from Phx help load the truck then we both drive to Sac then I pay for their flight/train ticket/bus back to Phx. 2) Load the truck myself, let the workers of the renter truck ship/drive my stuff to Sacramento, CA while I take a flight/train/bus to Sac. 3) Pay a family member to come to Phx, they help me load my stuff on a regular chevy truck, then we both drive to Sac, and I pay for the gas. Also, don't forget to leave a word of advice. Thank You All For Your Help!!! One more thing I forgot to mention... I don't have my license, but I know how to drive.

With that small amount of stuff I think it would be cheaper to have a garage sale, sell everything that won't fit in your car, and buy new stuff when you get there. It would me more fun too.
