Help booking a air flight!?

I got a $250.00 voucher from United Airlines. I have never booked a flight before and I want to visit a friends in California, Sacramento. Would it be possible to get a round trip ticket to visit her for $250.00 sometime in the beginning of April? I know I am very ignorant about air flights but could anyone help me out? Thanks

Depends where you are flying from, call United Airlines and ask them what the cost of the ticket would be
