Without mentioning when in July you want to fly and how long you want to stay, no one here can give you anything other than the usual answers -- that is, to check sites such as travelocity.com, orbitz.com, expedia.com, or kayak.com and see what prices return for your specific dates. I'd only note that the cheapest published fare for that route is about $255 plus tax for a round-trip ticket (close to $300 after taxes and fees) on United Airlines, but whether you'd actually be able to pay that price depends on whether tickets are available at that price on your specific dates. If you're not willing to pay the $300, then your options will be to either hope that there is a fare sale between now and then, or try placing bids through a site such as Hotwire or Priceline. You can also try alternate airports as well -- flying to Newark, New Jersey instead of Philadelphia is not particularly inconvenient (it's easy to take the train from EWR to Philadelphia), and the price is a little less than flying into Philadelphia.

July is not a cheap time to fly. June-August is considered peak travel time since during the summer months, lots of people start flying. If you don't mind connections, you can try http://www.southwest.com. Otherwise http://www.kayak.com is a good website to try.
