Will flights be cancelled in Sacramento tommorrow

Will flights be cancelled in Sacramento tommorrow?
Due to the upcoming storm schedulled to hit Northern, CA with wind gusts upto 60mph, will flights be cancelled? And if not, is it safe to fly in these weather conditions? Thanks in advance!

I would highly doubt it, possibly however if anything happens. Delays at worst? And yes, it is safe to fly. You have a better chance dying on the drive to the airport than on a plane.

Possibly. It depends on the plane to determine whetehr it is safe, and the widn direction may change of course. EDIT: Oh I thought you were the pilot... Judging by peopel's comments, you don't seem to be, so if you are driv...

There might be a chance that the flight will be canceled. If the wind is actually 50+ and it's a lighten storm, then I would have to say YES or there might be a delay. I work at an airport.

The weather reports for Sacramento I looked at say wind gusts of 30 mph, not 60. And yes, it's safe to fly then.
